Santee River

The Santee River, downstream of Lake Marion, offers a variety of scenery and wildlife as it flows from the lake to the tidal waters of the Santee Delta.  The river can be accessed in several locations and from tributaries, with habitats ranging from cypress swamps to salt marsh.

Adjacent Waterways: upstream, Lake Marion; on stream, Echaw Creek, Chicken Creek, and Wambaw Creek; and downstream, Santee Delta (Coastal).
