This is a half-day paddle down a very rural section of the Catawba River. The river is mostly wide, flat, and straight through this section, with a few shoals along the way. Finish the trip at Landsford Canal State Park, home to the world’s largest population of Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies.
This access is a part of the Catawba Nation Greenway. It is located on Catawba Nation Reservation.
This take-out uses the upstream access at Landsford Canal State PArk. This canoe trail access is located near the ranger station and trailhead, off of Park Dr.
