Pocotaligo River

The Pocotaligo River, a tributary to the Black River, is more like a swamp than a river. Paddling opportunities are available Pocotaligo Park north of Manning, and a boat ramp at N Brewington Rd, just upstream of the confluence with the Black River. The Brewington Bridge ramp is located on an open, lake-like section. These accesses provide park and paddle (out and back) opportunities to most folks, except to the adventurer who would want to navigate the 11-miles of swamp from one access point to the next.

Adjacent Waterway: downstream, Black River.
