Croft State Park is a state park located near the town of Spartanburg in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The park is located on land that was used for a US Army training camp and prisoner-of-war camp in World War II known as Camp Croft. Lake Craig is a flatwater reservoir with scenic, quiet views.
Lake Craig at Croft State Park can be used as a put in and take out. The lake is flatwater.
All boat rentals (fishing, canoe and kayak) are available between the office hours of 11 a.m. and noon and 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. To rent outside of these hours please see park staff on duty or stop by campground host sites 22 or 45 in the campground. Boating and Boat Access : A boat ramp provides private boat access to Lake Tom Moore Craig, a 165-acre watershed. Private boats are permitted on the lake, but are restricted to electric trolling motors. Fishing Boat Rentals : Non-motorized, 14 ft. fishing boats rent for $15/four hours or $25/day between the office hours of 11 a.m. and noon and 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. To rent outside of these normal office hours, please see a park ranger. No boats will be rented after 6 p.m. Canoe/Kayak Rentals : Canoe rentals are available for $15 for four hours or $25/day. Kayaks are available for $10/hour. Rentals are available year round, weather permitting. No canoes or kayaks will be rented after 6 p.m. Admission : $2 adults; $1.25 SC seniors; age 15 & younger free.
